Do I need to update the COR or go through Curriculum?
Answer
No. The textbooks on the COR are only representative textbooks. You do not need to add the OER textbooks or OER course materials to the COR. Since the COR would not be modified, you would not need curriculum approval. That being said, when examining OER for your course, you will need to be mindful about the course objectives (SLOs, SPOs) to make sure the resource supports them adequately.
As a note, the COR can be updated during normal program review.
